#2JZGTE
A modified 2JZ-GTE is a monster of a motor in it's own league. A healthy 2JZ-GTE is said to be bullet proof. The motor can be tweaked for more power overstock. A partially modified 2JZ-GTE would handle about 800PS and built motors can handle well over 2000hp That's a lot of power for any modern or oldschool Toyota Corolla. There's a lot of costumed or blot on aftermarket performance parts for the 2JZ-GTE via internet.
A 2JZ-GTE With vvti
The
most awesome swap for any fitted Corolla would be a 2JZ-GTE from a 4th Gen Toyota Supra. The
2JZ-GTE was a 3.0 L(2997 cc) aluminum/iron block piston motor. The 2JZ-GTE was a squared designed; turbocharged, inline 6 motor. The engine came from Toyota’s JZ power train. The motor was produced from
1990- 2007. The bore and stroke of the engine was 86 mm. The 2JZ-GTE output were between 227-321hp, with up to 320 ft•lb of torque at
a given rpm. High power ratings depended on the engine itself. The 2JZ-GTE had a compassion ratio of 8.5:1. The motor was designed to improve high performance and later fuel efficiency. There were JDM versions of the motor with
several appearances and setups.

Another awesome swap for any fitted Corolla would be a 2JZ-GE from a 4th Gen Toyota Supra. The 2JZ-GE was a 3.0 L(2997 cc) aluminum/iron block piston motor. The motor was a squared designed inline 6. The engine came from Toyota’s JZ power train. The motor was produced from 1990- 2007. The bore and stroke of the engine was 86 mm. The 2JZ-GE output were between 215-227hp, with up to 220 ft•lb of torque at a given rpm. High power ratings depended on the engine itself. The 2JZ-GE had a compassion ratio of 10.0:1. The motor was designed to improve high NA performance and later fuel efficiency. There were JDM versions of the motor with several appearances and vvt-i updated setups. Parts from the 2JZ-GTE can be shared with this motor.
"Emission Friendly", any version of a regular 2JZ-GE is best fitted for a Toyota Corolla. A customed tuned turbo or Rotrex supercharged 2JZ-GE is capable of handling up to 300PS. This is alot of power for a Toyota Corolla. The motor itself and many 2JZ-GTE emission parts can be had for cheaps. Like the 2JZ-GTE, a forged 2JZ-GE can be built to handle monsterious power. "

One step
down from the 2JZ-GTE is the 1JZ-GTE. The 1JZ-GTE can be a perfect engine swap
for any Toyota Corolla. Just like the 2JZ-GTE, there were updated versions of the
1JZ-GTE. The 1JZ-GTE was a 2.5L (2491cc) DOHC inline 6, aluminum/iron block, piston motors. The 1JZ-GTE was an oversquared design from Toyota’s JZ power train. The engine was produced from
1990-2007. The bore
of the engine was 86 mm and the stroke was 71.5 mm. The
1JZ-GTE had an output between 227-280hp, with up to 315 ft•lb of torque at a
given rpm. Higher power ratings depended on the engine itself. The motor had compassion ratios of 8.5:1 and later vvti versions had compassion
ratios of 9.0:1. The 1JZ-GTE was designed to improve performance and fuel
efficiency. There were only JDM versions of the motors. The motor can be found from the 4th/5th Gen Toyota Chaser
Aftermarket for this engine is stronge as well. The 1JZ-GTE is a power house. Tuned versions can product more power overstock. 650PS is completely doable on the stock bottom end. This is alot of power for tiny cars like the Toyota Corolla.
Pop your hood with a 1JZ-GE. The 1JZ-GE was a 2.5L (2491cc) aluminum/iron block piston motor. The motor was an oversquared designed inline 6. The engine came from Toyota’s JZ power train. Like the 2JZ-GE, the 1JZ-GE was produced from 1990- 2007. The bore was 86mm and the stroke was 71.5 mm. The 1JZ-GE output were between 168-197hp, with up to 185 ft•lb of torque at a given rpm. High power ratings depended on the engine itself. The 1JZ-GE had a compassion ratio of 10.0:1. The motor was designed to improve high NA performance and later fuel efficiency. There were JDM versions of the motor with several appearances and vvt-i updated setups.
Aftermarket for this motor is sufficient. The 1JZ-GE itself can be taken to new NA heights for NA builds. Quality customed parts for this motor can be found via internet. The 1JZ-GE can be modified to handle up to 250PS.
A JZ swap is one of sickest and craziest swaps that Toyota has to offer. A JZ swap could never be a direct swap. The wiring setup is very challenging and the swap is not similar to any other setups. All the proper equipment from the donated car including a suitable or modified transmission is needed for a successful swap. These swaps requires a lot of customization including customed motor mounts, electronics/ECU, suspension, custumed high proformance axles, shifter, fuel system, cooling system, A/C/power steering, intake/exhaust, suspension/brakes, and tires. Turbo or supercharged applications may require upgraded injectors, upgraded ECU, a blot on or customed built manfold, fuel pump, and boost controller. Every motor and transmission has a weakness. It is very important to address your motor and transmission for weaknesses before modifying them.
This swap "MAY" require a proper chassis conversion. JZ swaps were done to many Corollas, Tercel, Celicas, Yaris, Scions, Ford Mustangs, Mitsubishi Eclipses, etc. The JZ Series has a large aftermarket. Many custom fitted parts can be found via importperformanceparts, turbokits, driveshaftshop, gatorracingaxles, ptuning, car-part, or maxpeedrods. Prices can be customed and compared for your likings.
